I train her twice a week. I have been now for almost 2 years.
Just aside, I train her Mom once a week. I also train her brother twice a week.
She weighs 110lbs and she's about 5' 4" tall.
Watch her push a 280lbs sled for 50 feet.
Not only is sled pushing a great way to train upper body strength, it's a great uni-lateral leg exercise. Powerful hip extension is required to push the sled forward. Tremendous upper body strength and shoulder stability is required to transfer the push from the legs to the hands. The athlete also develops core stability and anaerobic conditioning.
Do you have it in you to push almost 2 1/2 times your body weight?
