Since June 2011, I have been working at Definitions Fitness Company here in St. John's. I want to share one of my many success stories with you.
At Definitions, we help track progress by measuring weight, skin-folds and other health related measurements (waist circumference, hip circumference etc.) when new clients train with us. For one of my new clients that started with me in June, it was all about the numbers.
Phyllis wasn't really into fitness and wasn't totally sure what she was getting herself into but all that she knew was that if she didn't make the effort now to be healthier, it would be 100x harder later in her life. She decided to make the commitment to get healthier and took action. She dedicated 2 hours a week at the gym training with me and walked most nights after supper. She also did her part in the kitchen and made some necessary changes. From June 2011 to the end of September 2011, Phyllis lost 13lbs, over 2" from her waist and over 7% body fat. It's quite amazing to compare Phyllis now to how she used to look.
